Variations on jpg_1679

In the past three years, I’ve been working on a new large scale installation, showing more then 700 variations of a single digital image as an endless source of inspiration.
jpg_1679 is a random non-iconic image, which became an obsession and got reworked again and again for a long period, bringing the investigation and process of painting to the forefront as the main source of practice.
